The 1st Annual Bright House Regional Business Awards took place on February 27 in Tampa, FL. iDatix team members were in attendance and thrilled with the announcement that iDatix had received the most prestigious award of the evening “Innovator of the Year.”
"It was an honor to be able to participate in the awards for this innaugural event, and we are very excited with the victory," states Samantha McCollough, Marketing Manager.
Chambers of Commerce in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Manatee and Sarasota counties worked together with Bright House Networks for the inaugural event, connecting local businesses in a celebration of best-in-class. More than 150 businesses were nominated; of those businesses, 60 were finalists.

Nominations were accepted in four categories based on number of employees and business lifespan. Prizes for the awards totaled over $1,000,000, including commercial TV production, air time, customer newsletters, a featured news story, and cash.
With the local win, iDatix hopes to go on to become a competitor on the national level for similar awards. As referenced in the video above, with their innovative process automation and document management solutions that allow people to work smarter, not harder, it's easy to see why iDatix took the award.
With process improvement being such a hot topic in the business world today, iDatix is happy to spread the word that solutions for BPM may not be as expensive or unattainable as some executives may think.
Guests at the awards dinner had the opportunity to mingle with professionals from the region’s top businesses, and enjoyed an evening of dinner and entertainment at one of Tampa’s premier hotels located in the heart of downtown – the Hilton Tampa Downtown. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' new coach Lovie Smith (pictured above) spoke at the event, alongside Florida Blue CEO Pat Geraghty and Todd Leiweke, Tampa Bay Lightning CEO.
